About HCAT
Why
Join HCAT?
Founded in 2016, Hoyland Common Academy
Trust (HCAT) was established with a clear vision: to ensure that every child
receives an exceptional education through the power of collaboration, shared
expertise and strong local partnerships.
Born from the successful partnership between
Hoyland Common Primary School and Tykes Teaching Alliance, HCAT was created to
build on a proven philosophy that schools achieve more when they work together.
Since its inception, the Trust has remained committed to supporting schools to
maintain their individuality whilst benefiting from the strength, stability and
opportunities that come from being part of a wider family of schools.
At HCAT, we believe that children only have one
chance at their education. This belief drives our commitment to providing the
highest standards of teaching, learning and support across all our academies.
By bringing together talented professionals who share our values and
aspirations, we create environments where both pupils and staff can flourish.
As an employer, HCAT offers more than just a job –
we offer a career within a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation. We
are passionate about investing in our people and recognise that the success of
our schools depends on the expertise, dedication and wellbeing of our staff.
Through high-quality professional development, leadership opportunities and
access to extensive school-to-school collaboration, colleagues are supported at
every stage of their career journey.
What makes HCAT unique is our commitment to "local
solutions for local schools." We firmly believe that schools are
inherently unique organisations, serving distinct communities with individual
strengths and challenges. While our academies share common values and benefit
from Trust-wide systems and support, each school retains its own identity,
character and local governance. This allows staff to enjoy the close-knit
culture of their school while benefiting from the resources, expertise and
opportunities available across the Trust.
The educational landscape continues to evolve at
pace, and HCAT provides the stability, support and innovation required to meet
these challenges with confidence. Our collaborative approach enables schools to
focus on what matters most – delivering outstanding educational experiences for
children – whilst benefiting from strategic leadership, school improvement
support and effective resource management.
If you are looking to join an organisation that values collaboration, professional growth, innovation and community, HCAT is the employer of choice. Together, we are committed to unlocking potential, raising aspirations and transforming life chances for the children and communities we serve.
