About The First Federation Trust
Starting life as a small group of South Devon schools in 2006, today First Federation Trust has grown into a well-established multi-academy trust with a family of 29 primary schools across Devon, Plymouth and West Dorset. As a Trust, we celebrate the diversity and distinctiveness of each primary school while benefiting from working collaboratively, sharing our collective experience, and providing support and inspiration to one another.
Our main purpose is to provide the best education for all while encouraging every individual to aspire, flourish and achieve within their community, now and in the future.
Each school is supported by our central team, whose wide range of skills and expertise include finance, HR, marketing, governance, safeguarding, legal and more. The team offers a range of services to each school, ensuring they can focus on their core task of teaching and learning.
We seek to enhance the provision and maintain or improve standards at all our schools, while enabling them to maintain their individual identities and the freedom to shape and deliver a curriculum that reflects their school’s values and the aspirations of the children they serve.
