About Axminster Community Primary Academy
Welcome to Axminster Community Primary School. Our school is at the heart of the Axminster community. We believe that having achievement for all, providing challenges and opportunities allows all our pupils to grow and flourish, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
Ofsted graded Axminster as ‘Good’ in January 2020. Our school is a happy, friendly place where everyone is valued. We have an incredibly talented teaching team who are passionate about nurturing each individual’s unique talents. The team are supported by the Axminster community, who value our school very highly.
Outside learning is very important to us. We are fortunate to have large grounds, including free-flow play areas for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2. Our forest school is used by all our children. We have a large playground and a field that we use for break times and for PE. We also benefit from our close proximity to the Flamingo Swimming Pool.
