About Great Learners Trust

The Great Learners Trust (GLT) was established in 2014 in Buckinghamshire with the aim of promoting exceptional learning. We are now a dynamic group of 11 primary schools, working generously in collaboration to provide the best possible education for our children. Trust schools are diverse and unique; this individuality is underpinned by common principles, a shared ambition and a commitment to working closely together. Belonging to the Trust enables schools to focus on the essential work of delivering excellent teaching and learning. The Trust provides high quality school improvement expertise and frameworks for school leaders and governors, including strategic planning, financial and estates management, operations, recruitment and policy development.

Our Mission:

To inspire and empower all to achieve their full potential and thrive in a dynamic world.

Our Vision:

Inspiring Excellence. Empowering Futures

We envision a Trust known for its educational excellence, transforming children's' lives. A vibrant community which inspires everyone to achieve their full potential and empowers all to manage their future with confidence and purpose.

Our pupils will be confident, capable, and compassionate individuals, ready to face future challenges and contribute meaningfully to the world. Our commitment to excellent teaching, innovation, and holistic development will drive us to create outstanding educational experiences that foster academic achievement, personal growth, and social responsibility.

We will be brave and bold in our approach, encouraging pupils and staff to take risks, challenge and stand up for what is right. By embracing courage and creativity, we will push boundaries, ensuring that all are empowered to achieve ambitious goals and make a positive impact on the world.

Our Commitment:

  • ·        Inspire and challenge every child to reach their highest potential
  • ·        Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • ·        Foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and resilience
  • ·        Engage with, and contribute positively to, our communities
  • ·        Pursue innovation and excellence in all aspects of our work

Our Values:

Our values are the foundation for the culture, behaviours, and decisions within the Great Learners Trust. They embody the principles essential for achieving our mission and vision.

We are:

  • ·        Brave
  • ·        Bold
  • ·        Ambitious

We are Brave: Courage in Action

Bravery empowers us to continuously improve, confront challenges head-on, and stand up for what is right. We foster an environment where courage and resilience enable our pupils, staff and communities to thrive and grow.

We are Bold: Pioneering Progress and Creativity

Boldness drives us to take risks and innovate, continuously seek new and better ways to enhance education and make impactful decisions with confidence. Our bold vision inspires our pupils, staff, and communities to aim high and achieve remarkable success.

We are Ambitious: Striving for Excellence and Beyond

Ambition is at the heart of everything we do. It is the driving force that inspires us to aim higher, dream bigger, and continually pursue excellence. We cultivate a culture where high aspirations lead to outstanding outcomes for our pupils, staff, and communities.
