About Wandle Learning Trust

We are delighted to welcome you to Wandle Learning Trust (WLT), a family of schools united in the belief that there is no more important role than making a positive difference to children's lives.

From our very youngest children in Nursery, right through to our Sixth Form, we aim to instil the conviction that with determination, dedication and the right support, we can achieve whatever we set our minds to.

Through our inclusive, broad and balanced curriculums, every child should leave our Trust schools feeling seen, inspired, and empowered by their education. Inspired to build a purposeful and fulfilling life and empowered to make a valuable contribution to the world around them.

Throughout their journey in a Wandle Learning Trust school, children benefit from the dedication of our skilled and passionate staff who we encourage to be bold in their decision-making and ambitious in their aspirations for children and their families. Staff across all subjects and at all stages of their careers are supported to continually look for ways to innovate and improve their own practice. This includes drawing on extensive opportunities offered by Wandle Learning Partnership, our teacher and curriculum development arm whose role includes supporting our Department for Education-designated Maths, English and Teaching School Hubs,

The Trust is also home to award-winning Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised, an early reading programme currently being used by more than 5,000 in England and internationally to teach children to learn to read, read well and experience the joy of reading.

Senior leaders within Wandle Learning Trust also enjoy the support of our central team, whose expertise spanning estates, governance, HR and finance means they have more time to focus on the core purpose, teaching and learning.
