Message from Theresa Moses, Headteacher

Paxton Academy is committed to high aspirations, inspiring pupils and achieving academic excellence. Adults and children work together and create an environment in which everyone can flourish and achieve their true potential, both academically and socially.

Staff and Governors provide a relevant, creative and inclusive curriculum which raises achievement, encourages all children to have a ‘Love for Learning’ and inspires them to succeed in all that they do. The school’s seven Core Values, provide an ethos which unites and empowers everyone to gain confidence, take risks and seize opportunities to excel in an ever-changing world.

Located on the London Road (CR7 6AW), our new building features fantastic indoor and outdoor PE and games spaces, as well as music and science classrooms. 

As part of Wandle Learning Trust we have access to a range of expert colleagues across Maths, English and Early Years, as well as the Trust’s teaching school. This allows all staff to continually update their subject knowledge and teaching techniques for the benefit of all children.
