Working for Tapestry Learning Partnership
About Tapestry Learning Partnership
Tapestry Learning Partnership was launched on 1 January 2026, following the successful merger of Djanogly Learning Trust and QEGSMAT. Together, we have formed a stronger, more resilient partnership, united by a shared commitment to improving life chances for children and young people.
By bringing together the strengths, expertise and communities of both Trusts, Tapestry Learning Partnership offers a rich and connected learning environment where collaboration, ambition and care sit at the heart of everything we do.
Our Vision
Our vision is clear and uncompromising:
every child and young person will succeed and flourish through an exceptional education and experience.
We are guided by the metaphor of a tapestry, where strong warps and wefts are woven together to create something enduring and purposeful. Our work is shaped by six interconnected strands that reflect our responsibility to every child:
Get them in
Keep them safe
Give them a strong start
Know what they need
Deliver it well
Send them on ready
We are intolerant of anything that falls short of what children deserve and act decisively when things are not right.
Our Values and Behaviours
Everything we do is underpinned by five core values:
Care – putting children, families and colleagues first
Courage – doing the right thing even when it hurts
Integrity – doing the right thing even when no-one is looking
Humility – listening, learning and growing together
Aspiration – striving for excellence for every child and ourselves
Employees who live these values believe deeply in the right of every child to an excellent education. They demonstrate professionalism, resilience and a commitment to continuous improvement, using innovation and reflection to strengthen provision and outcomes for pupils.
What Is It Like to Work at Tapestry Learning Partnership?
Tapestry Learning Partnership is a people-centred organisation. We believe that valued, supported and listened-to colleagues are essential to delivering exceptional outcomes for children.
We place strong emphasis on employee voice, creating regular opportunities for colleagues across the Partnership to share feedback, contribute ideas and help shape the future direction of the Trust. Our Employee Voice Forum bring together staff from all roles and levels to work collaboratively with senior leaders and the People and Culture Team to identify strengths, address challenges and drive improvement.
We also place great importance on recognising and celebrating our people. Each year, we hold an Employee Appreciation Week in March, which is consistently positive and well-received across the Trust. This week provides an opportunity to thank colleagues for their commitment, celebrate successes and reinforce the culture of care, respect and collaboration that defines Tapestry Learning Partnership.
Professional Development and Collaboration
We are committed to developing our people at every stage of their career. Through Trust-wide professional learning and development, colleagues are supported, nurtured and encouraged to grow within a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
All staff attend our annual Trust conference, providing opportunities to share best practice, collaborate across schools and build strong professional networks. We also host community engagement events and Trust-wide celebrations, recognising children, young people and colleagues who exemplify innovation, resilience and excellence.
