• Workload Matters – Our Workload Charter ensures that planning, marking, and meetings are streamlined and purposeful. Subject leads receive dedicated time for planning, and we use high-quality plans to reduce unnecessary workload.
• Time to Plan, Reflect, and Grow – Staff benefit from protected PPA time, including full-day PPA, offsite, every fortnight, and a rationalised approach to marking that prioritises impact over unnecessary workload.
• Well-being and Work-Life Balance – With a no-emails-after-6pm policy, no-meetings weeks once a half term, and an additional 'DNA Day Off', we prioritise staff well-being. We also offer flexible leave for important family events and personal milestones.
• Strong Team Ethos – We believe that nurturing positive relationships between staff, pupils, and families is at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated inclusion team, skilled DSLs, and a mental health support team ensure that every colleague and child gets the support they need—while also providing staff with clear CPD and guidance. Weekly staff briefings focus on positive recognition, and we build team spirit through celebrations and social events
