About Carlton Academy Trust
Carlton Academy Trust is an award winning, Bradford-based Trust with a powerful story. Formed in 2019,it was inspired by the remarkable transformation of its founding school, Carlton Bolling - once labelled “The Most Broken School in the Country, but transformed into an Ofsted Outstanding, World Class School, and Secondary School of the Year in less than 4 years.
That same belief in transformation drives our work today. Now supporting nine schools – three secondary, three primary, and three special – we serve nearly 5,000 students and employ over 980 staff. In 2022, we became one of the first to be recognised as a World Class Trust by the World Class Schools Quality Mark.
Our mission, Excellence for All, sits at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to sustainable growth, with a plan to expand to around 15 schools so we can continue offering high-quality, focused support and ensure every school has the chance to achieve Outstanding status.
