About Carlton Keighley
Carlton Keighley is a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school with a strong sense of purpose and community. We’re proud to serve a richly diverse area of Keighley, and while we recognise the challenges our community faces, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive – and that’s exactly what we’re here to make happen.
Since joining Carlton Academy Trust in 2019, our school has been on a remarkable journey of transformation. The positive impact was confirmed by Ofsted in 2020 and further acknowledged in our 2025 inspection. And we’re still pushing forward. In 2024/25, we proudly achieved the Careers Mark Award, recognising our outstanding careers education, and the Artsmark Silver Award, celebrating our commitment to creativity and the arts.
At the heart of Carlton Keighley is a deep belief that character and culture matter. We place high-quality teaching and learning at our core and invest heavily in evidence-based CPD to keep our practice sharp and effective.
