Welcome to Beechcliffe Thackley, part of a unique, dual-site specialist provision alongside Beechcliffe Keighley, and proud to be an Ofsted-rated Good school within Carlton Academy Trust. Our school serves pupils aged 11–19 from across Bradford, all of whom have EHCPs identifying social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Beechcliffe is a place where every child is understood, supported, and given the tools to flourish.

Our school is built on a whole-school nurture approach, underpinned by our affiliation with Nurture UK. Many of our pupils have experienced early adversity, and we’re committed to providing a safe, secure, and structured environment that supports emotional growth, self-regulation, and learning. Our approach is deeply informed by attachment and trauma theory, and our skilled, compassionate staff combine warmth and care with high expectations, meaningful challenge, and unwavering belief in every child’s potential.
