As a Play Worker at Wittering Primary School, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of young learners. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual, who has a passion for working with children, to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for providing a stimulating and inclusive environment, ensuring children aged 5-11 years old engage in meaningful play, learn valuable life skills and build lasting friendships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Promote a safe and welcoming atmosphere, where children feel valued and respected.
· Implement activities that foster creativity, physical activity and social development.
· Foster positive relationships with parents, carers and the community.
· Support children in their home learning and provide assistance where needed.
· Ensure cleanliness and organisation of play areas and equipment.
· Collaborate with fellow Play Workers.
· Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records.
