3AS point 6-9 (£18,683 - £19,592 pa actual salary)
31 hours 15 minutes per week term time (8.40am-3.25pm)
Term Time Only + 5 training days

Grange Academy is a community special academy for pupils aged 7-16 with a wide range of ability levels and additional learning needs, including moderate learning difficulties and autism. The school is part of a local Multi Academy Trust of special schools, BILTT. Due to the expansion of our school, we are looking to appoint a highly motivated person who:
· is passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children
· has experience of delivering structured activities without supervision
· has knowledge of autism, behaviour and SEND needs or is willing to learn and develop a range of skills and strategies
· work effectively as part of a team to improve pupil confidence, attitudes and resilience
· is able to build effective relationships with pupils, staff, families and other professionals
· has a good sense of humour and is flexible, reliable, resilient and positive
· has strong literacy and numeracy skills and has good communication skills
· has the ability to work as part of a dedicated team
· has effective organisational skills and a positive outlook
