About this Role
Contract: 1 year contract initially - up to 37 hours per week term time plus 1 week (must include 3-4:30pm, Monday to Thursday)
Flexibility available with hours and potential to split the role
Salary: H5 (FTE £25119-£27334) Actual salary (up to £21,351-£23234 based on 37 hours per week)
Start: September 2024
Responsible To: Senior Leader (Pupil Premium)
About the role: We are looking for someone to plan, resource and deliver quality tutoring in school to individuals and / or small groups of students
Main areas of responsibility:
To support small groups of students with Maths and English to GCSE level
To plan and deliver learning activities to small groups, including after school sessions
To raise attainment of disadvantaged students
To liaise with teachers and pastoral team to ensure that tutoring directly supports and build on learning in the classroom
To liaise and communicate with parents and carers as needed
