Stondon Lower School is values based school at the heart of a popular, growing and welcoming village. The school caters for 150 pupils from Reception to Year 4 currently. The school will become a primary school as part of the Schools for the Future programme in Central Bedfordshire in the near future. Stondon lower school is federated with Shillington lower school.
We are seeking an excellent class teacher from September 2024 who can demonstrate: high expectations for all pupils, excellent classroom management skills and a personal growth mind set. You will be teaching in year 2 from September the position is for 2 days per week.
You should be someone who is committed to personal learning and development. You will be a confident, organised, positive, forward thinking teacher, someone who is aspirational for the achievement of all pupils, is enthusiastic, energetic and inclusive and a team player ready and willing to work with the team to drive the school forward, as we transition to primary.
