Iām delighted to welcome you to the Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust (ODST). The Trust was founded in 2012 from a commitment to excellent education for academies in the Oxford Diocese. ODST has now grown into a large family serving thousands of pupils and their families and communities.
We support schools right across the diocese, covering Oxfordshire and historical Berkshire. An ODST school is a special place, which values its individual identity and serves its local community. We want every person in our schools to know that they are uniquely valuable.
We believe in the transformational power of human relationships. By building effective relationships between our schools in hubs, and by encouraging our schools to play their fullest part in the existing networks to which they belong. We believe that we can work collaboratively to raise attainment and ensure schools get better together.
In the same way that we are committed to the highest professional standards from our staff, we ensure that all our schools have high aspirations for their pupils, not just in the key curriculum areas but in those wider aspects of education. We strive for everyone within our schools to āvalue who they are, and who they can becomeā.
If you choose to work for us, we have a broad range of learning opportunities available to support and teaching staff alike, and from September 2024 we have rolled out a review programme across all our schools called 'growing great people' which is focussed on professional development.
