About the Inclusive Education Trust
The Inclusive Education Trust (IET) was established in 2021 and comprises primary and secondary Alternative Provision schools, over seven sites based in Surrey and Hampshire. Our schools are supported by a central operations team.
Our staff are committed, skilled and compassionate; they work tirelessly to secure the best possible outcomes for every student. We combine a broad and balanced curriculum with strong pastoral care and therapeutic support so students can develop academically, socially and emotionally. Students are placed at the centre of everything we do and our settings are characterised by positivity, laughter and purposeful learning.
Our Purpose:
To provide an inclusive and high quality educational experience that promotes self-belief and a love of learning to enable all students to maximise their potential.
Our Values:
We will ensure a culture of integrity championing high performance that is underpinned by our core values of:
Honesty ⇒ Respect ⇒ Compassion
By consistently championing:-
Creative Innovation ⇒ Bespoke Inclusion ⇒ Supportive Collaboration
Our Vision:
To ensure that all children and young people have access to the most appropriate educational provision to meet their needs which is of a consistently high quality.
To be a central part of the community ensuring that PRUs and APs are seen as equal to mainstream school with students being given the same opportunities, despite the challenges.
To be seen from a national perspective, as an innovative and forward-thinking organisation with exceptional outcomes for all students.
Join the IET community and play a pivotal role where your skills will directly help students who face barriers to mainstream education to rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning and maximise their potential. You will work within a compassionate, high‑performance team that values honesty, respect and collaboration, receive bespoke professional development, and have the autonomy to shape creative, inclusive provision, making a clear, lasting difference to young people.
Safeguarding & Equal Opportunities Statement
IET is an equal opportunities employer and wholeheartedly supports the principle of equal opportunities for all its employees and for all applicants for employment. It is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices also reflect this commitment. Successful candidates will be subject to Disclosing and Barring checks along with other relevant pre-employment checks. If shortlisted all candidates will be subject to a preliminary online search of their name to identify any safeguarding considerations to be discussed at interview.
