About us

Rowhill School is an Alternative Provision Academy (Pupil Referral Unit) based in north-east Hampshire, serving 13 mainstream secondary schools. On 1 February 2026, we joined the Inclusive Education Multi-Academy Trust, giving us access to greater opportunities, shared expertise across partner schools, stronger professional collaboration, and tailored resources and systems that help us better support students’ learning, wellbeing and success.

We work with young people who may be medically unwell, emotionally vulnerable, at risk of permanent exclusion, or permanently excluded from mainstream education. Our role is to provide the specialist educational support, care and guidance they need to overcome barriers and achieve success.

We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, relational and restorative environment where students and staff can thrive.

Our curriculum is designed to ensure students are learning from every interaction they have with our staff team. Alongside gaining qualifications, we focus on developing the personal attributes, confidence and life skills students need to successfully navigate their futures. Our school week is carefully structured to provide ambitious learning opportunities while allowing time to build strong, positive relationships.
