About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Trust’s friendly and supportive Professional Services Team and to assist in the provision of high-quality governance across schools within the Trust.

The successful candidate will provide professional clerking support to Local Governing Bodies working effectively with the school’s Headteacher, Governors and Trust Central Team, in particular the Trust Governance Manager.  The role includes maintaining governance records, preparing and circulating agendas and associated documentation, minute taking, facilitating panels and general administrative support.

The successful candidate will be:

-        A clear communicator

-        Proactive, efficient and organised with proven administration and ICT skills

-        Have an interest in education

The role will suit someone who wishes to work flexibly as it involves mostly home working as well as attendance at meetings across Trust schools, working an average of 6 hours per week term-time only.  Meetings take place either during the school day or after school hours (all meetings are scheduled in advance with reasonable notice provided).

Previous clerking experience, including writing accurate and concise minutes is desirable but not essential as training and support will be provided.
