About this Role
37 hours per week
We are seeking to appoint a conscientious individual to ensure that the school premises and contents are maintained in a safe and secure manner, ready for use by our staff and pupils every day. To
help keep the school clean and tidy.
The
caretaker has a 24-hour responsibility for the security of the school premises.
Within these hours of attendance for work will be determined by the need of the
school and undertaken by agreement with the Premises Manager.
Key holder responsibilities extend beyond
regular working hours to cater for emergencies at any time day or night.

committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its pupils and expects all those working at the Trust to share this commitment. All offers of employment are subject to an
Enhanced DBS check, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check
will be completed for all applicants.
This post is exempt
from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and
2020). This means that certain convictions and cautions are considered
‘protected’ and do not need to be disclosed to employers, and if they are
disclosed, employers cannot take them into account. Guidance about whether a
