About this Role

Southtown Primary School are looking for a class teacher to join our dedicated teaching staff. This role is initially likely to be based in a lower KS2 classroom but candidates should be willing to teach elsewhere in the school in the future as this is a permanent class teacher role.  This post is being offered on a permanent basis.

This role requires someone who has an enthusiasm for teaching and can really make a difference for our pupils; a teacher who is a kind, motivated professional who is ready to go the extra mile for our children.  We offer a supportive leadership team, excellent CPD and a welcoming team of colleagues.

ECT's are welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will:

·       Be child centred and committed to the ethos of our school

·       Be a reflective practitioner who considers the needs of all children.

·       Have the energy and desire to help our children achieve their potential across a broad and stimulating curriculum

·       Be keen to be part of a team, prepared to constantly review your practice and strive for excellence.

·       Be positive and have good interpersonal and organisational skills.

·       Have experience of, or an interest in a wide range of special educational needs.

In return for working at our school, which is part of Kingfisher Schools Trust, you will receive a wide range of benefits, including:

·       Excellent opportunities for continuous professional development

·       Access to a huge variety of training courses through The National College

·       Pension scheme (TPS ) with generous employer contribution

·       Employee Assistance Programme for free and confidential advice

·       Shopping and leisure discounts

·       Cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme

·       Affordable electric car salary sacrifice scheme
