Are you looking for a fulfilling and flexible role in a nurturing environment? Would you enjoy supporting young children during their lunchtime routines and creating a positive dining experience? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to become a Midday Meals Supervisor.
We’re looking for a kind, calm and positive Midday Meals Supervisor to join our Nursery team this September. This is a special role supporting our youngest children, aged 3–4, during a key part of their school day.
From 11.15am to 12.15pm, you’ll help children enjoy their lunch safely and happily, encouraging independence, positive routines and good manners before supporting play and helping create a calm, settled lunchtime environment.
You’ll be working closely alongside our experienced Nursery team, so we’re looking for someone who can use their initiative, pitch in where needed and be a supportive team player. A warm, nurturing approach is essential, along with a good sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck in with whatever the children need.
At Hook Lane, we are committed to Encouraging Fearless Learners, and this role plays an important part in helping our children feel confident, safe and ready to thrive.

Has good communication skills and enjoys being part of a team

No formal qualifications are required, but experience working with children or in a school environment is a bonus.
