The Hook Lane staff team work collaboratively and have high expectations of our children to ensure they make the best possible progress during their time with us. We recognise that children deserve the opportunity to excel across the curriculum and pride ourselves on providing for ambitious standards in the humanities, arts and PE as well as in English and Maths. We measure success by understanding children’s individual progress and attainment and know that this can look different for each child.

As a community school we are keen to ensure children see the importance of growing into good citizens for the future and understand the important contribution they can make. To this end we work hard to build good relations with our local community through charity fundraising and visiting local businesses, localities and places of interest.
