About Maritime Academy Trust
Maritime Academy Trust is an exciting and innovative partnership of primary schools located in Greenwich, Bexley, Kent and Medway. Our schools have transformed through targeted collaboration, innovative ideas and a curriculum which equips children with leadership and life skills.
Maritime was created around an idea, that education should be meaningful, children should love learning and that everyone who works with us should feel they make an impact.
We want to develop children who are happy, resilient and confident to give things a go. Children who are getting memorable experiences, in fantastic schools and classrooms. We can help them achieve outstanding results to set them up for the next stage in their lives by having dynamic teachers and support staff who love their work and working together. We want to work with like-minded people who share our vision and values and believe that every child is entitled to a phenomenal education.
Here at the Maritime Academy Trust, we are always looking to grow our teams with talented people to achieve our vision, which is to empower schools with the means to drive more meaningful and enjoyable outcomes for children.
The Maritime Central team is a core Central Services function that supports our schools with Finance, HR, Governance and raising educational standards. We are a small, but highly capable team, that strive to deliver the best possible generalist support to the Trust at all times.
As a Central team we work closely together, collaborating on envisioning new ways to improve our service, troubleshoot problems as well as learning from each other. We are passionate about staff well-being and offer blended working opportunities, enjoying weekly team games on a Wednesday and social activities.
