About this Role


Position: Class Teacher/ECT Responsibilities:


- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the curriculum. 


- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independent thinking and a love for learning.


 -Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their individual development.


- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of teaching and learning. 


- Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress and involved in their education. 


- Foster a supportive and nurturing classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour management strategies.


- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that enhance the overall educational experience of our students.


Requirements: 


- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently enrolled in a recognised teacher training program as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).


- A thorough understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching strategies.


- Passion for teaching and a commitment to providing an inclusive education that meets the needs of all learners.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. 


- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.


- Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards professional development.


- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
