About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced and outstanding SENDco to join our team at Ebor Academy Trust, you will be working across two of our schools. These will be as follows
To be successful within this role you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a number of different professionals. You will work closely and be supported by both the teaching team and the senior leadership team.
You will also be a key contact for parents and
carers, so you will need to be approachable with a positive and caring
disposition.
You will be passionate about improving learning
outcomes and experiences for all our children.
The job requirements
The primary role of the SENDco is to manage the day-to-day
operational work alongside the school leadership team to ensure that the
children’s needs are met. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

new starters with the Trust receive a thorough induction programme, followed by
a programme of training which is essential to the role. But it doesn’t stop there, all staff receive development
