About this Role

We are looking to recruit staff to supervise children in our breakfast and/or after school clubs.

Hours of work would be 7.30-8.30am for breakfast club.

3.15-5.15pm for after school club with an additional 45 minutes (until 6pm) on selected days to meet the needs of the school.

Hours and days can be negotiated at interview with the headteacher.


We expect the successful candidate to:

● Have experience of working in a primary school setting or running a wrap around type club i.e. breakfast, lunch or after school

● Have high expectations of behaviour and inspire and motivate our children

● Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations

● Seek to make after school club exciting and a positive experience

● Plan and offer a range of sporting and other activities daily

● Promote After School Club via social media to support growth

● Communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils.

● Work closely with staff as part of a team;

● Be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom.

● Be fully supportive of the strong Christian ethos of the school and it’s values

  8. Are you willing to communicate with staff and parents to keep them updated about any concerns/issues that arise regarding their children?
  9. Are you able to use CPOMs, Bromcom and Smartlog medical/accident tracker to ensure safety of all attending wrap around care.
  10. Would you be willing to offer additional hours as overtime on an adhoc basis for either breakfast or after school clubs?
