About this Role

Experienced Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant required to start ASAP

 20 Hours per week, 10 am to 2 pm each day, Term Time only, Fixed Term Contract to 18th July 2025

 This is a grant funded post to support Early Language Development within our Early Years Team.

 Salary: NJC Band 6 points 6-7 (£13.05 - £13.26 per hour)

Applicants should possess relevant minimum Level 3 teaching assistant qualifications and be able to work as part of a team.  They should also be prepared to support children within the classroom and work with groups or individual children with additional needs, as required.

 Applicants should be:

·         be highly motivated, forward thinking and committed to high quality curriculum provision in a caring Christian ethos.

·         have a high standard of spoken and written English.

·         be able to demonstrate sensitivity whilst working with others and have good interpersonal skills.

·         be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom.

·         Experienced in supporting with Speech and language programmes

 We require a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Is an experienced, outstanding classroom practitioner
  • Has an excellent knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
  • Has an excellent understanding of language development and early talk
  • Has an excellent understanding of Early Years
  • Works effectively as part of a class, key stage and whole school team
  • Can contribute to the wider school community
