We are Isham Church of England Primary School; a school which has been a feature of the parish of Isham since 1840, and an academy, which is part of the wider family of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET).

Isham has always embraced the ‘whole’ child, ensuring academic rigour is set within a wider theological and educational context. We understand that the Arts, Sport and Faith together with good pastoral, spiritual & mental health support drive standards far more rapidly than any diet restricted to English & Maths and, thus, these feature heavily in our school.

We also acknowledge that mental health, resilience and good pastoral support is critical in supporting the staff team to pro-actively manage all challenges that they face, in ensuring our children leave us being the best they can be & well prepared for the next phase of their journey.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Teaching Assistant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our committed team. The role involves supporting teachers and pupils in the delivery of quality teaching and a modern curriculum while guiding pupils to reach their full potential and to flourish.

We are seeking someone who:

·        Has relevant experience and good qualifications

·        Can inspire and enthuse children in all aspects of their learning

·        Are creative and innovative in their approach to learning

·        Can develop strong partnerships with staff, governors, parents and the community.

·        Is a personable team player with a sense of humour

·        When required will cover for teacher absence/training

We can offer you:

·        A fantastic opportunity to develop your career

·        Supportive, motivated and interested staff, governors and parents

·        Hard working and very well behaved children

·        A positive Christian ethos

If this sounds like the perfect job opportunity and you’d like to join our family, Isham CE Primary School would like to hear from you!

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed, please contact us on 01536 723956 if you wish to arrange a visit for you.
