Level 3 Classroom Assistant (EYFS)
Permanent Contract
30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community.  The school prides itself on its inclusive nurturing approach and strives to ensure that all pupils thrive and have a brilliant start to their education! Standards are high at Towcester where children are keen to learn but welfare and nurture is paramount in allowing this to happen. Visitors comment on the school’s ethos of nurture and the ‘family feel’ of the school. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and work with us in developing and growing our new pre-school setting.

Our ideal candidate will:
  • Have an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
  • Be able to provide an environment that delivers both education and care and enhances children’s learning opportunities.
  • Have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Have high expectations and be committed to raising the achievement of all children.
  • Be supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school.
  • Have good communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Have a personal commitment to ongoing professional development.

Towcester Primary School is a proud member of PDET, alongside 32 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
