Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community.  Our school prides itself on its inclusive nurturing approach and strives to ensure that all pupils thrive and have a brilliant start to their education! 

We are an Ofsted Good school, our most recent inspection having taken place in the Summer Term of 2024. Standards are high at Towcester where children are keen to learn but welfare and nurture is paramount in allowing this to happen. Visitors comment on the school’s ethos of nurture and the ‘family feel’ of the school. We aim to nurture and prepare our children for life to enable them to flourish academically, personally and socially. Our children tell us that this is a fantastic place to be!

We provide opportunities for our pupils to contribute to our local community, participating in local events and serving local organizations and charities. We encourage our pupils to develop as proud and responsible citizens. Our dedicated team of staff use their creativity to provide fun and often unusual lessons to develop our children’s thinking and experiences – making their learning both exciting and memorable -  enabling each individual to flourish.

 We have over 350 pupils on role and continue to grow with the housing developments in the area. We are a Church of England school that works closely with St Lawrence Church. We follow values that promote our excellent spiritual, moral and cultural beliefs about ourselves and others.
