About this Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our team.  We need someone to work with children across the early years team. We need ambitious and driven candidates with a passion for helping children learn effectively. Everyone who visits our academies comments on the calm atmosphere, the enthusiasm our children have for learning and the great sense of team amongst staff and children alike.  In our Trust we value every individual and put our children at the heart of everything we do.

EYFS apprentices are appointed to support work with pupils as part of a team under the direction of the Academy Leader of the individual academy.

Apprentices work is primarily to:

·    Foster the participation of pupils in the social and academic processes of the academy

·    Support pupils to become more independent learners

·    Contribute to the wider team in its aim to raise standards of achievement for all pupils

You will undertake an apprenticeship which will be supported by the Trust and is a key part of your duties.   You will be given paid time off to study and undertake assessments.

 What we can offer you:

  • A culture of trust, where all contributions are recognised and respected
  • A skilled senior leadership team with a strong ethos of mutual support and challenge
  • Children who engage well and want to learn
  • An embedded whole trust commitment to professional development
  • A skilled and experienced central service team who proactively support our academies, enabling educationalists to focus on our core purpose – teaching and learning
  • A real commitment to work-life balance – we remember we are human beings first and educators second
  • Great Trust benefits including: free parking, company paid healthcare, travel discounts and excellent training and development opportunities

Visits to the academy are encouraged! If you wish to arrange a visit, discover more about this exciting opportunity, need any further information or you would like to have an informal discussion, please contact us to arrange a convenient date.
