About this Role

As a Library Resource Assistant, you will assist with all aspects in the effective running of the library, support students and staff during English library lessons, supervise & assist all users of the library and promote the library within the academy community. You will be responsible for maintaining the computerised library management programme and organising & delivering small group reading interventions.


About You

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a school or similar Learning Environment with students of relevant age and be willing to undertake training as required. Candidates will also be educated to GCSE A-C / 9-5 in English and Maths and be IT literate to enable them to assist learners. They will have the ability to work calmly under pressure, be organised, reliable and self-motivated.
