0.6 FTE (3 days a week), 1 year fixed term contract until 31/08/2025 in the first instance
Taverham is an excellent, 11-18 school with a caring, positive ethos. The school was substantially redeveloped in 2007 and we became an academy in April 2013 and joined Enrich Learning Trust in February 2024. In May 2023, the school was recognised as ‘good’ in all categories by Ofsted and in the Summer of 2023 we achieved our best ever results, with our attainment in English and Maths among the highest in the county. |
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic professional to join our English Department. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across the full age and ability range. If you are dedicated to ensuring that our students have the opportunity to succeed and have a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people, we would like to meet you. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching to KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) and have confidence in teaching a broad range of ability. There may also be the opportunity to teach Media Studies, English Literature or English Language at A-level.
Enrich
Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its
pupils and expects all those working at the Trust to share this commitment. All
offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and where
applicable, a prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all
applicants.
