About this Role

Are you passionate about science and eager to support the next generation of scientists? Chiltern Hills Academy is looking for a motivated Science Technician to join our dynamic team. No prior experience is required, but candidates must have a qualification in Science or A Level/GCSE Science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Assist teachers during practical science lessons.
  • Ensure the safe disposal of chemicals and biological waste.
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory inventory.
  • Support students in their understanding of scientific concepts.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Science or A Level/GCSE Science.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
