About this Role

COVER SUPERVISOR

Grade 3 £25,119 - £31,364 per annum, pro rata

Actual Salary £19,641- £24,524

32.5 hours per week Term time:

8.20am – 3.20pm (30 min lunch break)

Cover Supervisors are an established team and must be prepared to work in any subject providing:

  • Supervision of classes in the short term absence of the class teacher under the guidance of teaching/senior staff
  • In-class support within a designated range of subject areas
  • Curriculum support, including planning and administration

The successful applicant will:

  • Have experience of supporting young people 11-19
  • Have a high level of written and oral communication skills
  • Be committed to the provision and improvement of quality service provision
  • Have the ability to work in a demanding environment
  • Be able to plan own workload and respond flexibly to changing circumstances
  • Have the ability to adapt to a variety of situations
  • Have confidence, authority and excellent interpersonal skills
