About this Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated and forward-thinking Early Years Educator to join our well-established nursery team at Highfield Nursery School - Wellingborough.

The role will be varied and will include working with pupils with individual needs on a one-to-one basis; overseeing the creation and implementation of individual plans to enable pupils to access the curriculum; reviewing and assessing pupil progress and targets; liaising with external agencies and providing pastoral support to pupils and their families. This will be a fulfilling and rewarding role where you will be making a difference to children’s learning and progress.  

We are looking for applicants with strong communication skills who will be able to build and maintain respectful and effective relationships with staff, children and their families. You will be motivated and resilient with excellent organisational, interpersonal and time management skills

Foundations for Children Nursery Schools Federation comprises of four maintained nursery schools: Camrose Early Years Centre for Children & Families and Parklands Nursery School in Northampton; and Croyland Nursery School & Day Nursery and Highfield Nursery School in Wellingborough. We have over 80 years' experience providing high quality early education for children aged 0-5

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience of working with Early Years , however training is offered for candidates who wish to develop their expertise.
  •  Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in teams
  •  Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues

Contract type: Fixed term, Term time only, shift pattern flexible 3 day working ( hours to be discussed at interview )

Salary: Grade D, SCP 3-4 (£24,027 - £24,404 FTE)  £8369.49 Actual Annual Salary

Annual leave: 26 days plus bank holidays
