About this Role

Kimbolton School is seeking a well-qualified, adaptable, enthusiastic and supportive Games Coach to design and deliver games lessons across both the Senior (Years 7-13) and Preparatory Schools (Years 1-6). The Games Coach will have a specialism in one of our major Sports (hockey, football, netball, cricket, tennis) and/or have significant experience in strength and conditioning.  

The successful candidate would be expected to tailor their coaching techniques to the different teams and abilities, ensuring all players are challenged and provided with continuous opportunities for improvement.  The main duties of this role include designing and delivering games lessons, managing and coaching teams for all home/away matches and leading and assisting purposeful and safe training sessions for teams and individuals.

It is essential the successful candidate be working towards a current NGB Coaching qualification in level 2 or above and have experience of coaching in a wide range of environments. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills are also required.
