About this Role

Kimbolton School is seeking to appoint an experienced Play Assistant to join our friendly and committed team at the Preparatory School from September 2026. The successful applicant will work in the School’s before and after-school childcare facility (Kim Club) for the after-school/afternoon sessions only. The key responsibility of this role is to assist the Kim Club Manager with the smooth and reliable operation of the After School Kim Club. The role will support the manager to provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children with creative and appropriate play opportunities. 

The successful candidate should be patient and punctual, and have an enthusiasm for working with young children, and have excellent organisational, record keeping and planning skills. They will also actively promote and support the safeguarding of the children and young people in the workplace.
