About The People’s Learning Trust
The People’s Learning Trust is proud to be part of the
Everton Family. Inspired by the values of Everton Football Club, our approach
to education places people at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are
creating a powerful learning community where all learners can thrive.
Our Trust was shaped from the outset by collaboration, with
our Founder Schools – Everton Free School and Football College, Waterside
Academy, Oldfield Primary School, Meadow Primary School, and Bidston Avenue
Primary School – playing a vital role in defining our shared values and
strategic direction. We are proud to be growing, with The Bridge Short Stay
School set to join us soon and a number of schools currently exploring
partnership through a careful, values-led due diligence process.
While each academy retains its own identity, all benefit
from being part of a wider community grounded in trust, inclusion, and a deep
sense of shared purpose. Across the Liverpool City Region and beyond, we
champion diversity, celebrate individuality, and encourage our learners to see
themselves as global citizens who can make a difference.
