About The Compass Partnership of Schools

About The Compass Partnership of Schools

The Compass Partnership of Schools is an ethical and ambitious learning community, formed in 2017. We are a growing Multi-Academy Trust comprising 13 primary schools and two all-through special schools, located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and in Essex.

Our mission is to deliver the very best educational outcomes for all children through high-quality teaching, a knowledge-rich curriculum, and a deeply inclusive approach. We are committed to ensuring that every child—regardless of background, ability, or need—feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.

We are an innovative group of schools, united by a shared vision to transform lives through education. Social justice is at the heart of everything we do. Our values—optimism, ambition, and resilience—guide each child to become curious, enthusiastic, confident and compassionate learners.

As a civic trust, we are proud of our role within our communities. We actively build connections with local organisations and families, ensuring that our schools remain rooted in and responsive to the communities they serve. While we work as a united group, we also celebrate and protect the unique identity and context of each of our schools.

Collaboration is at the core of how we work. We share ideas, expertise and leadership across schools to ensure continuous improvement. Our collective knowledge and shared commitment to excellence drive the success of our Trust.

A significant development for our future is now underway: subject to Department for Education approval, The Compass Partnership of Schools and Eko Trust will formally merge in April 2026 to become The Compass Eko Partnership of Schools. This new phase will build on our strengths, deepen our impact, and expand the opportunities available to our children, families and staff.

We are proud of what we have achieved together so far—and we are excited about what’s to come.
