About St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Trust
A warm welcome to St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Trust.
We were formed, along with our sister trust St Francis, in response to the vision of the Bishop of Hallam for all schools in the Diocese to be part of high achieving Catholic MATs with a strong moral purpose to deliver the best possible experiences for all pupils with a particular commitment to those who are most vulnerable.
Our first 12 schools joined the Trust in September 2022 and our 13th school, Holy Trinity Barnsley, joined us in April 2024. We work closely with our wider family of 10 primary schools who we look forward to fully welcoming into the Trust in due course, at which point we will be a Trust of 23 schools across Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham.
We are built on a foundation of strong relationships between our schools, rooted in our shared Catholic Christian mission and passion for serving our communities across the Diocese. We have a strong commitment to enhancing the ethos and character of each individual school so that schools continue to be rooted firmly in the communities that they serve. We also have a commitment to the common good, harnessing our collective capacity for the benefit of all the children and young people who attend our schools.
Central to this work is our aim to be a great employer, connecting our expertise and resources to ensure that every member of staff in every school has access to great professional formation, development and support.
