About Lydiate Learning Trust

A warm welcome to Lydiate Learning Trust

As Chief Executive Officer of Lydiate Learning Trust, I am privileged to work with great teams of Governors, staff, students and parents. My executive staff and Trustees share the same values and ambition for all across our learning community, we challenge and support each other to Engage, Enable and Empower.

Lydiate Learning Trust is a network of schools and academies working across communities in North West England, including Liverpool and Sefton. The Trust is founded on the core beliefs that every child should be afforded the very best opportunities in life. We engage with all within our Trust and beyond to enable them to show the world their particular strengths, ideas and passion…

Our partnerships across the region help ensure opportunity to as many young people as possible. Our excellent staff across our schools guarantee academic excellence and a fundamental ethos of aspiration that inspires all of our students to flourish, achieve their goals and fulfil their potential. As CEO, my vision is to support every member of staff and every young person so they can discover and achieve their personal best. The Trust is committed to the pursuit of excellence, with young people at the heart of everything we do and personal wellbeing is prioritised at every stage.

Everyone has a part to play in Lydiate Learning Trust and everyone is listened to. Team work is precious, but so too are initiative and originality. We encourage positive attitudes and a “can-do” culture. We aim to provide a secure, safe environment in which all of our learners feel valued and where they can develop the skills, attributes and confidence which will serve them well throughout their life.
