Thank you for your interest in Deyes High School. I am honoured to be the Head of School and to lead Deyes into our next exciting stage of development. This next phase is supported by a new multi-million pound sustainable school building, delivering exceptional facilities for teaching, learning and professional practice. Deyes High School is part of Lydiate Learning Trust, serving the community of Maghull and beyond as a beacon of excellence: a school which opens the doors to opportunity for all students; a school where there are no limits to ambition.

We are a vibrant and forward thinking school where teaching and learning is at the centre of all we do. As a result, our polite, enthusiastic and ambitious students develop a love of learning and a passion for subject knowledge which enables them not just to dream about achieving, but to truly succeed.

Deyes High School is an extensive learning community in which we are all active participants. Our subject specialist staff are part of a culture of continuous improvement which promotes expertise that is infectious in a classroom. Consequently our environment is stimulating and supportive. Our classrooms are dynamic and purposeful. Our school is a happy place to grow and learn, feel valued and respected.

The curriculum we deliver is underpinned by the responsibility we have to prepare our students for college, university, apprenticeships and future employment through their exceptional academic results alongside confidence, resilience and citizenship. Deyes High School students will always consider the interests of others as well as themselves. They will always think globally, weighing judiciously how they can affect change for the better. They will always be proud to say that they are part of our school.
