Kisharon Langdon empowers adults and children with learning disabilities and autistic people to thrive and reach their potential.

From our Ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ nursery to our state-of-the-art school and further education provision, we offer a seamless transition through every stage of education and into adulthood with supported living, social care programming, training and employment.

At the core of everything we do is our personalisation of care – recognising individual needs and wishes and giving the people we support as much choice and control as possible. We are ambitious about what they can achieve and ensure they have the tools to lead happy, independent and fulfilled lives.

Stronger Together

Kisharon Langdon was formed in 2023 following the merger of two well-established learning disability charities, Kisharon and Langdon.

Kisharon had provided unrivalled life opportunities to members of London’s Jewish community for almost 50 years whilst Langdon’s roots lay in Manchester with the founding of Langdon College over 30 years ago. As Langdon’s revered services grew and expanded to London, the similarities between both charities became increasingly evident, underlined by their collective commitment to fostering an inclusive environment underpinned by Jewish values.

The two charities worked closely together for a number of years, sharing resources and expertise, and the recent merger has created one of the UK’s leading learning disability charities. As Kisharon Langdon, we have been able to enhance our range and quality of services and increase our personalisation of care, enabling the people we support to learn, develop and thrive in new and unique ways. The merger has also helped reduce growing waiting lists for our services as we strive to be there for everyone in our community who needs us.

Our Present and Future

Kisharon Langdon currently supports over 100 children in our educational provision, 50 students in our college, 65 young people in our youth and holiday schemes, 140 adults in supported housing and 750 people in our social care, learning and development, and employment services. We work tirelessly to ensure the people we support live in a world of equal rights and opportunities, where they feel valued for their contribution and face no barriers to their progression and success. There is still much to achieve but we will continue to push boundaries, change perceptions and transform lives.
