We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Subject Leader of Business who will help shape the future curriculum and build on established strengths and contribute to the continuing success of the department and School.  As part of the role of Subject Leader, you will form part of the schools’ middle leaders where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop as a leader.   You will

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and degree in specialist subject
  • Experience of teaching at KS3 to KS4
  • Evidence of securing high outcomes from students
  • Ability to use IT to support effective teaching and learning
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Effective form tutoring and committed to the importance of pastoral support
  • Understand and be a proud advocate of the five values of all Meridian Trust schools
  • Believe that students make the best progress when teaching is well planned and well delivered
