About Sawtry Village Academy
We are delighted to welcome you to Sawtry
Village Academy! Located in Cambridgeshire, Sawtry
Village Academy develops its students into successful, confident, and
successful people. Our vision is for all students to achieve to the highest of
their ability and to extend the boundaries of their learning and aims to
provide a supportive and caring school environment for all students, their
families and the local community. The school holds the following core values:
“Achievement for all, valuing people, a high quality learning environment, the
pursuit of excellence and extending the boundaries of learning.” The secondary
school nurtures students to value their peers and celebrate each others
success. Sawtry Village Academy wants to develop students as successful,
confident, responsible and employable individuals who in turn will contribute
positively to society as active and engaged citizens.
In September 2023, our school received
our Ofsted inspection with the result of ‘Good’. It was said that ‘difference and diversity are accepted
and celebrated. It is described as a happy place, where pupils feel safe and
can talk to an adult if they are worried.’
