Northill CE Academy is a small Christian school in a beautiful rural location situated on the borders of Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire.

At Northill, we aim to provide an inclusive, caring and supportive environment, which has high expectations and values all members of the school community. We recognise and respect the needs and aspirations of all individuals, recognising them as individuals with their own unique experiences and personalities. We provide opportunities for all pupils to make the best possible progress and attain the highest personal achievements.

Our children are given the tools needed for life in a diverse and ever-evolving society beyond our school walls. To ensure this can happen, we enhance our schools provision through the use of our ‘hidden curriculum’ which embodies our schools Christian Values, Collective Worship, Behaviour Principles and Pupil Welfare principles that we adopt as a nurturing, relationship based community hub. 

In essence, we view our school community as a family, with our building being the central hub for all of our families to come together for learning and development in preparation for accessing ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10).

It is vital that we provide the best possible environment built on supporting our community to thrive. Our school vision is our golden thread throughout all we do: ‘Aspire, Believe, Together we Achieve!’ Through living to this motto our pupils are enabled to ‘Shine…like Stars” (Philippians 2:15).
