Our Christ the King family recognises the dignity of every person as unique and formed in God’s image, ensuring all are valued. We welcome all children from all faiths, backgrounds and cultures. We strive to build positive relationships with our parents, as the first educators of our children, and we work collaboratively to support our children.
Our motto, mission statement and school values are woven through our curriculum in order to ensure that our children learn the knowledge they need, alongside accessing the enrichment and personal development opportunities that will help to shape them to be the best that they can be – loving learning, understanding personal responsibility and equipped with the tools needed to face a challenge.
Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy (CVA) serves the Parishes of Christ the King in Alfreton and St. Patrick and St. Brigid in Clay Cross. Our Parish Priest visits school regularly to celebrate Mass with us and the children will visit our Parish Church at various times throughout the year. Our children support Parish events, following in Jesus’ footsteps through serving others.
