About this Role

Cleaner in Charge

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Cleaner in Charge to ensure our lovely school is kept clean and safe for our pupils, staff and visitors.

Duties will include cleaning, washing surfaces, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins and the cleaning of the designated areas which will include toilets, fixtures and fittings.

Candidates will be required to:

Work as part of a team, covering sickness when required.
Required to undertake a DBS check.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding and welfare procedures
Report a shortfall of stock requirements to the Site Manager
Advise the Site Manager of any deficiencies in classrooms or corridors etc broken chairs, carpet rising
Follow Health and safety Guidelines, report faulty machinery and equipment to Site Manager
Be energetic, proactive, self-motivated and have attention to detail
Supervise the Cleaner
